Kazuki Watanabe crashed and injured in All-Japan

Kazuki Watanabe, a backup rider for the new Franco-Japanese Suzuki team Yoshimura SERT Motul, was scheduled to compete in the second round of the All Japan Road Race Championship series held on April 24-25, 2021, but due to a crash during the free practice session, he was forced to miss the main race.

Watanabe crashed during the free practice of the second round of the All Japan Road Race Championship series at Suzuka. He suffered a concussion and a broken wrist, and was forced to sit out the race. However, Yoshimura SERT Motul announced that Watanabe will continue his role as a backup rider for the 24 Hours of Le Mans to be held on June 12-13.
