YART YAMAHA Takes Pole Position for Estoril

Fierce battles unfolded in the qualifying round.

Yamaha factory team YART Yamaha will start the Estoril 12 Hour Race from pole position.
The morning of Friday September 25th in Portugal saw a fierce battle unfold at the Estoril circuit. Yamaha factory team YART Yamaha topped the official qualifying session to take pole position for the 12 Hours of Estoril, ahead of F.C.C. TSR Honda France and BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team.

All three YART Yamaha riders, Karel Hanika, Marvin Fritz and Niccolo Canepa, qualified in the 1'39" range, making them the fastest and most consistent riders on the Estoril circuit. Without a doubt, YART Yamaha are the favourites to win the final round of the FIM World Endurance Championship, the 12 Hours of Estoril.

The start time of the race was moved up to 08:00 local time (Western European Summer Time, 16:00 Japan time).
