Saturday, June 30, 2018 - Sunday, July 1, 2010 All Japan Road Racing Championship Series Round 5
Tomoyoshi Koyama shows a steady ride and finished in second place of both races!
The injury of Takuma Kunimine who cannot heal is a pride of the victory's stand.
The 5th round of the All-Japan Road Race Championship Tsukuba held in the interval of 2-weeks from the SUGO round of the previous game.
This time, it can be said to be an important round considering the entire series with the 2-race system as it is given points for 2-races, not to mention Koyama who fight for the battle title.
Moreover, the Tsukuba circuit is close to the metropolitan area, and I want to show a good race just by riding with the cheers of Japan Post.
There was a special sport riding for the participants last week, and Koyama and Kamei went for the test ride, but Kunimine who had fallen in the Sugo round finals and had a right hand injury had been able to meet.
In fact, Koyama is actually the first time to ride in Tsukuba on an ST600 machine.
It started with line removal and confirmation of braking points and advanced the machine set.
Kamei was pulled by Koyama, and the time he went out alone, he fell down and collapsed.
The rainy season declaration was hit by a severe heat on the first day of the race week.
The road surface temperature also rises to 50-degrees or more, and it goes into a condition where machine control is difficult.
On the first day of this day, Koyama falls over the first corner just after issuing a sign to enter the pit.
It has been a mysterious part, but it searches for the cause and goes to prepare for the Saturday official preliminary, and race 1 firmly.
However, Kunimine was able to ride the machine for the first time since he had been injured, but still was not able to do the riding and the severe pain attacked, but this time he wanted to get a goal in order to win more than one point .
In the official preliminary, the grid for race 2 is decided at race 1 at best time and race 2 at the second time.
Koyama secures the 2nd place in Race 1 and 5th place in Race 2.
Kunimine peaks the top ranking for both races in 8th place.
Kamei had a difficult time of riding the rhythm and was placed on the 29th.
Koyama was finished in 2nd place in the top battle in Race 1.
Kunimine got to the 6th place in the opening lap and Kamei flew to the 5th place on the 2nd lap.
Okuda won the game on the 6th lap, but Okuda fell down on the 12th lap and again moved into the fifth place again.
He overcomes the battle with Kamei at the end of the race and finished in 5th place.
Race 2 was happening on Saturday in a very tough heat.
It was Koyama at second row start who uses the tires to dodge the players going ahead and got to up the 3rd places in the early stage.
It rose to the 2nd place in the seventh lap, and the first hairpin was caught in the high side, and there was a scene of falling down.
The goal remains as it is and switch to 2nd place.
Behind of it, Kunimine finished in 3rd place, and 2-person of Japan Mail Honda Dream went up to the victory's stand.
Kamei got caught up in an accident in race 1 and falls, but in race 2, he finishes 19th in the ride until the end.
A word from players

Comment by Tomoyoshi Koyama “Actually, it was the first time to ride at ST600 in Tsukuba and able to finish machining from special sports ride. br> br> In Race 1, keeping the 2nd place while Nagao who is riding Tsukuba was really fast and considering the championship. br> Race 2 was tracking the top, but it was likely to fall on the high side on the way, so I chose to put pressure while avoiding the risk. As a result, I think that I got the minimum work because it is a 3-point behind.”

Comment by Takuma Kunimine “Last week’s special sports ride, I was not being able to participate because I fell down at SUGO’s final and injured my hand, and I could hardly ride on the first day of the race week. br> Among them, in the Race 1 riding preliminary, the pains came out on the final stage, but I was able to be in 5th place. That experience took an advantage to me in the race, that I could do even even better and went up to a victory’s stand.”

Shun Kamei Comment “In the previous week’s special sports ride, I think that it was not a good condition on the spiritual side, even I got time and received lots of advice from Koyama, but still there was a fall after entering the race week. Many people will give advice to try in the next race and be able to ride with confidence in order not to waste what you are riding in a very grateful environment.”

Comment by Yusuke Teshima “Tsukuba is the closest circuit in the Tokyo metropolitan area, and it was also a sense of enthusiasm for the team as saying that Japan Post cheering team is also coming. Among them, carrying race that makes Koyama stable, while Takuma Kunimine cannot heal the injury at SUGO, but still it was a good race because it went up on Race 2 on victory’s stand. Regarding of Kamei, there are falls and places that could not get in a good flow, but a good part is further extended because this team finished the first half of the season and the challenge came, and the thought that you want to improve the unfavorable part and come to face the next race.”
