Aviobike WRS might not have made it back-to-back wins in the FIM Endurance World Championship’s Superstock category in the 8 Hours of Spa Motos. However, by finishing the Belgian event, the Italian squad was able to accumulate vital knowledge of its new-for-2025 Ducati Panigale V4.

Riders Luca Bernadi, Matteo Ferrari and Akito Haga combined to finish 12th among the Dunlop-equipped FIM Endurance World Cup contenders following the rain-hit race.

Team Manager Giovanni Baggi said: “It was a challenging race, especially from a weather standpoint. We started with a good pace, but when the rain came, we were out on slicks and had a crash. In the middle part of the race, we managed to respond well to a minor technical issue and then to another crash – fortunately without any consequences. These incidents cost us a few positions, but they didn’t stop us from finishing the race. All three riders put in a solid final stint, and Luca brought our Ducati across the finish line.”

Baggi continued: This is a young project that still needs to grow, but we know we have everything it takes to do well, starting with the support of our partner WRS, who stood by us both at Le Mans and in Spa. A big thank you to all our sponsors, both official and technical, who have chosen to support us this season.”
