A pole to flag victory for Milan Merckelbagh in the latest Dutch championship counter helped to make up for JMA Racing Action Bike’s early exit from the 8 Hours of Spa Motos.
Merckelbagh, from The Netherlands, was part JMA’s riding trio in round two of the Superstock-based FIM Endurance World Cup earlier this month along with French pair Charles Cortot and Paul Dufour.
After an accident caused, by a gearbox issue, led to JMA Racing Action Bike’s retirement in Belgium after four hours, Merckelbagh hit back from that disappointment with a 5.5s winning margin at Assen recently.
