Markus Reiterberger reckons he and the BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team have all the ingredients they need to win the 8 Hours of Spa Motos this week.
The Belgium-based outfit, which won the 24H SPA EWC Motos in 2022, heads to Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps on the back of finishing a delayed fourth in the FIM Endurance World Championship opener at Le Mans in April after initially leading comfortably.
German rider Reiterberger said: “I think we have an even better package this year than in the past two years, giving us a real chance to win. That is clearly our goal. We have a strong bike, a powerful engine, good riders, and the grip we need to go up against tough competition.
“Spa is one of my favourite tracks. We celebrated victory there in the very first year, in 2022, when the FIM EWC returned to the 24-hour race. That was fantastic, especially since it’s the team’s home race. So I have very fond memories of Spa. And the first time I rode there, I was immediately overwhelmed by this amazing racetrack.”
Meanwhile, tickets remain on sale for the 8 Hours of Spa Motos with more information available HERE.
