JOJ RACING TEAM READY TO TRY EWC FOR SIZE AT SPA

Title-winning German outfit JOJ Racing Team is all set to step up to the FIM Endurance World Championship in Belgium this weekend – and could return for an expanded EWC campaign in 2026.

Winner of the German Endurance Championship in 2023 and 2024, JOJ Racing Team will contest the 8 Hours of Spa Motos in the Formula EWC category.

Although the team’s exact rider formation is to be determined, it will select from German riders Freddie Heinrich and Maurice Mouton and Dutchmen Michiel Burger and Daniel Vermaas.

Henrich and Mouton are regulars are in German Pro Superstock Cup. Burger and Vermaas and more accustomed to competing in sprint events but have also raced in the German Endurance Cup.

JOJ Racing Team’s Janik Kaufmann said: “Spa is our, let’s say, try-out to form the team to compete in Spa. We do not have a big expectation. Our goal is to learn the international side in the EWC and form our team to get ready for the next whole season in the EWC European races.”
