Florian Marino is counting the days to the 8 Hours of Spa Motos – because it gives him the chance to race on the track he likes best.
Marino will compete for home squad ELF Marc VDS Racing Team/KM99 in the FIM Endurance World Championship counter, which is held on the 6.985-kilometre Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, 40 kilometres from the Yamaha-powered outfit’s base.
“Le Mans wasn’t an easy race to handle and we had some ups and downs,” Marino said after finishing 13th overall and ninth in Formula EWC in the season-opening 24 Heures Motos. “Through it all, we never gave up and managed to get back to 13th overall. But Spa is my favourite circuit and the home race for the team.”
The 8 Hours of Spa Motos takes place from 6-7 June. Tickets remain on sale for the ever-spectacular event with more information available HERE.
