Superstock squad 3ART Best of Bike celebrated its third 24 Heures Motos podium in as many attempts to kick off its 2025 FIM Endurance World Cup bid on a high last weekend.
The team’s revamped line-up of Jan Mohr, Alexy Negrier, Doriano Vietti-Ramus and James Westmoreland finished third for a total of 41 points in the Dunlop-equipped category.
After hitting back from falls earlier in race week, 3ART Best of Bike handed Westmoreland starting duties with the British rider making an instant impact by leading the Superstock order.
Vietti-Ramus and Mohr kept 3ART Best of Bike in the victory hunt during their stints but a fall for Negrier three laps into his first stint cost the Yamaha-powered team vital time with Westmoreland, Vietti-Ramus and Mohr also suffering falls as the race progressed, which dropped 3ART Best of Bike out of the top three.
But the team didn’t give up and was back in the Superstock top three after 20 hours of racing, a position it maintained to the finish.
“It was an emotional race between falls, cold and rain,” a 3ART Best of Bike post read. “We didn't let go of anything and passed the chequered flag third in Stock and 11th in the general ranking. We thank all our partners and Yamaha France for their support.”
Westmoreland added: “When you come to Le Mans and finish the weekend on the podium it’s always a good weekend. I’ve waited six years to taste it again and it’s a really nice feeling. It’s a privilege for me to be with 3ART Best of Bike, they did a fantastic job.”
