Marc Bachelier completed the 24 Heures Motos on Sunday afternoon by praising the work of the Uniserv Moto82 team, which was contesting the Le Mans-based event for the third time.

Based in Czech Republic but operating as a Kazakhstan entity through its title sponsor Uniserv, the Kawasaki-powered squad finished 37th overall and 23rd in the Dunlop-equipped Superstock category.

Frenchman Bachelier, taking part in his fifth 24 Heures Motos, was a late addition to the line-up alongside Czech Karel Pešek Jr, plus North Macedonians Hristijan Buzalkovski and Sinisha Kochoski.

“My participation was decided two weeks before the race when a rider withdrew from the project due to health reasons,” Bachelier explained. “I was pleasantly surprised to discover the motorcycle on Tuesday morning during Private Practice. I knew right away this machine would work in rainy conditions. Despite the five falls during the race, we finished. But my greatest satisfaction remains this unforgettable experience lived with the Uniserv Moto82 team, very friendly and with deep values. So I want to thank this team who trusted me to share the handlebars of this incredible Kawasaki ZX 10R.”
