Patrick Enjolras has revealed the “magic in this team” was behind his squad’s capture of third place on the starting grid for the 24 Heures Motos, the opening round of the 2025 FIM Endurance World Championship.
Hugo Clère, Randy Krummenacher and new recruit Martin Renaudin, who has stepped up from Superstock for this year, helped Tati Team AVA6 Racing complete the top three in qualifying at Le Mans with its Pirelli-equipped Honda CBR 1000 RR-R.
Following qualifying, Team Manger Enjolras said: “There's magic in this team. When I see all these people working together, I tell myself that we're really a good group. Hugo, Randy, and Martin set good times during the First Qualifying session with the third provisional cumulative time. This ensured us a good place on the starting grid. So we sacrificed the Second Qualifying session to work on the race, because the essentials were already acquired.
“We're very happy with our third place. It's our best qualifying position since we moved to EWC. It shows our constant progress. But we also know that three very good 20-minute sessions don't make a 24-hour race. The gaps are also very tight with the other top teams. And then the weather is expected to be changeable throughout the weekend. This will reshuffle the cards. The settings for a dry and hot track are different than for a wet and cold track. We welcome these first three points in the championship, but we remain focused on the race. That's our priority. And with all this competition and the weather, it's going to be intense."
