Slovenian rookie Aleš Brzin hopes contesting the 24 Heures Motos from 17-20 April will provide a platform to showcase his potential behind the handlebars.
The FIM Endurance World Championship newcomer has joined BGS Czech Team by Maco to compete in the Dunlop-supplied Superstock category at Le Mans.
He said: “The 24 Heures Motos is one of the most legendary races in the world. I am excited about this challenge. I want to finish the race strong and ride to my best. It’s an opportunity to show what I’m capable of and progress all the time in my career.”
Brzin, 31, has raced in the Alpe Adria Cup 1000 and STK 1000 in the past. He’ll be partnered at Le Mans by Czech trio Ladislav Chmelík, Kamil Holán and Martin Vašulín.
