Manu-au Competition achieved its goal of finishing the fourth and final round of the 2024 FIM Endurance World Championship season thanks to a Honda motorcycle that was “prepared to perfection” by its “dedicated team members”.
The Honda-powered squad crossed the Bol d’Or finishing line last month in 13th overall and seventh among the Formula EWC entrants to secure 15th position in the final ranking of the FIM Endurance World Championship for Teams.
“It is with great emotion that we announce we achieved our goal for this final meeting of the season,” a Facebook post from Mana-au Competition read. “A bike prepared to perfection, dedicated team members for many years, regular riders and whose riding was more than smart… this is the recipe that allowed us to shine today and pass this so coveted chequered flag.
“We know Endurance can be very harsh and merciless. It can shatter some people's dreams just like it can make a neighbour’s dream come true. Team Mana-au have not given up anything and are proud of how far we've come since 2009.”
With team regular Christian Palomares picking up an injury before the Bol d’Or, Mana-au Competition called up Swiss rider Gregory Monaya for his EWC debut alongside Marc Miralles and Samuel Trueb.
Mana-au Competition’s Facebook post added: “We would like to thank everyone who participated near or far in this moment of satisfaction: our sponsors, our riders, our team managers, our mechanics, our chief mechanic, our photographer, physicians, our families, all who contributed to the achievement of this goal.
