Matthieu Gregorio will return to the FIM Endurance World Championship for the season-deciding Bol d’Or next week.
The 23-year-old has been recruited by last year’s FIM Endurance World Cup title-winning outfit, Team 33 Louit April Moto, to chase Superstock category success on a Dunlop-equipped Kawasaki ZX-10R.
The 2022 French Supersport 600 Championship runner-up, who currently leads the 2024 title chase with five wins and 10 podiums, will partner Guillaume Antiga, David Sanchís and Simone Saltarelli.
Flavio Ferroni, Team 33 Louit April Moto’s fourth rider for the 24 Heures Motos at Le Mans in April, has secured an alternative ride for the Bol d’Or with further details to be announced shortly.
Montpellier-born Gregorio said: “I’m very happy to join Team 33 Louit April Moto to ride a Kawasaki ZX-10R at the Bol d’Or. I would like to thank Fred Louit and Benoît Leveillard for giving me my chance and Furygan for making me quality combinations in a short time. I’m ready to give my all for the team and its sponsors.”*
Gregorio raced for Yamaha-powered Team Moto Ain in last season’s Bol d’Or, partnering Corentin Perolari and Roberto Tamburini to 15th overall and ninth in the Formula EWC category.
The 87th edition of the Bol d’Or takes place at Circuit Paul Ricard from 12-15 September. Click HERE for ticket information.
