Yoshimura SERT Motul’s third place in the 45th Coca-Cola Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Race last month marked the continuation of a remarkable record for Dan Linfoot.
The Suzuki-powered team’s new recruit for this season has now finished in the top three in all rounds of the FIM Endurance World Championship held so far in 2024, a feat only Linfoot has achieved for Yoshimura SERT Motul due to various line-up changes.
“I’m very proud and happy to be on the podium in Suzuka after my fourth-place last year,”* British rider Linfoot (pictured left) said. “A result like that, together with the atmosphere and the Japanese fans is a memory of a lifetime.”
Linfoot, who is set to be reunited with Gregg Black and Étienne Masson – his team-mates from the 24 Heures Motos and 8 Hours of Spa Motos – for next month’s Bol d’Or, can still help Yoshimura SERT Motul win the coveted 2024 FIM Endurance World Championship for Teams during the Circuit Paul Ricard finale from 12-15 September.
