Mika Pérez doesn’t want his FIM Endurance World Championship ride with Team Players to be a one-off, despite admitting he needed a “minimum week off” after he helped the Kawasaki-powered squad to the finish of the 24 Heures Motos.

Pérez joined Nelson Major and Adrien Rollet, plus Ludovic Hauser, a late replacement for Paul Jordan, in the Le Mans EWC season-opener last month, finishing 26th overall and 15th in the Dunlop-supplied Superstock category.

It was an unforgettable experience to be able to finish the toughest race in the world,” 24-year-old Spaniard Pérez said. “We have had a great pace throughout the race, a shame my fall due to a brake problem and another from my team-mate. But I want to thank the team for their amazing job and my team-mates who gave it their all. I had fun so I'll give it my all for new opportunities to come in the future. I will need a minimum week off.

Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps hosts round two of the 2024 EWC season, the 8 Hours of Spa Motos, from 6-8 June.
