Team KAGAYAMA announced that they decided Naomichi Uramoto, who newly joined the Team KAGAYAMA from this term and is currently the top ranking in the class of the All Japan Road Race Championship J-GP 2 class, to participate in the spot at "FIM CEV Repsol Superbike European Championship final Race Spain (Valencia) Tournament" on November 20.

His entry team will be from "JEG Racing" based in Valencia. JEG Racing has participated in the Superbike/Superbike private class with two riders, # 72 Anthony Delhole (World Endurance Championship/#1 S.E.R.T. Rider) and # 43 Chris Cotton Russell, and they are ranked fourth and sixth in the series rankings respectively.

He participated in the Moto 2 class in Rd.15 MOTUL Japan Grand Prix in 2016 FIM MotoGPTM World Championship Series that was held recently by winning the wild card entry right, and he joined a world race in Japan.

Team owner Yukio Kagayama believes that setting up an environment, where players can challenge from Japan to overseas and from overseas to Japan, will lead to the development of the motor sports world. And he brought Kiyonari who is participating in the overseas race to the final race of the All Japan Road Race to be held this weekend. As a next project, he is thinking that if Uramoto who is a young rider will challenge overseas race, it will raise the level of not only his own experience but also the level of the team and the whole Japanese road race world.

The European Championship will be a new challenge for Team KAGAYAMA.

I am grateful to the people involved, including Kagayama, who gave this kind of opportunity to me this time. This is my first time to race outside of Japan, so I'm really looking forward to going with unfamiliar circuits and unfamiliar bikes. It will be 1000cc after a long absence, but I will do my best with all my strength.

We were able to participate in the MotoGPTM Japan Grand Prix last month by cooperating with everybody, and I was able to challenge the young rider Uramoto to the world game. This time, it is not only for the experience of Uramoto to participate in overseas race and to notice the difference in races between Japan and overseas. I hope that it helps to create an environment that Japanese riders will participate overseas races easily and overseas riders will be more likely to participate in the race in Japan. I would like to thank JEG Racing and all the concerned people for their cooperation in this entry.
