Introducing the custom motorcycle that has been submitted to the Webike Community "MOTO HACK Custom Motorcycle Contest" campaign!

Meet the custom motorcycle from "SC82.jp" who rides the CBR1000RR-R FIREBLADE.

Motorcycle and self-introduction

[Self-introduction]
O obtained a medium-sized motorcycle at the age of 16, and passed the first exam on the second try at the age of 17.

I rode these motorcycles until I was 27, then I stopped.
Motorcycles: 86'FZR400→88'CBR400RR→88'WOLF→88'GSX-R1100→91'FZR1000→92'V-MAX→94'ZZR1100→95'ZZR1100→TS200R→RM125→KX250

I returned for the first time at the age of 39 and ride the V-MAX again.

12' CBR1000RR (SC59) -> 20' CBR1000RR-R SP -> new Grom on reserve for second return at age 47.

[Motorcycles]
I bought SC82 because it is HONDA's real motorcycle. While I think it's a very easy motorcycle to ride, but it is not as fun to ride as other motorcycles.

Customization of the particulars

[Directionality]
Consistent weight reduction is a prerequisite, and the visuals should be cool.
Honestly, I don't need that much power, I can't even ride it.

[Points that I think are cool]
A custom look is created by adding just the right amount of light objects.
We create and install what we want, not just what's on the market.

[Points of change in performance]
Athletic performance has been improved by thorough weight reduction. In addition, fuel economy is improved by high-precision low friction measures.

I still want a race cowl, it's lighter by a kilo. I hope to get parts next year to go along with the exhaust system, but my goal is to cut the weight of the motorcycle by 190.

Self-made
Inner License Plate Tail Tidy
Side cover (Dry carbon is on order)
F Blinker Bracket
Titanium link bolts and nuts
All engine cover bolts are titanium.
All undercarriage bolts and nuts are titanium.
Fender bolts are aluminum.

Original side panel

  • The line is not shown because it is a prototype, but we are asking a professional to make it with dry carbon.
  • I made it because bare subframes are pretty unpopular, but honestly, it's cool!

I want to change the exhaust system soon, but I can't find the right one. If I could find something lighter and cooler, I'd be all over it.

It's a prototype, so the shape is different on each side. I don't know how many of these I've made. I was attracted by the chant that the chain is used in MotoGP.

# DID
ER Series Chain 520ERV7 Gold [Caulk (ZJ) joint included]

Converted from a normal 525 and sprockets both front and rear

#Sunstar
For the rear, I chose racing steel for durability. With duralumin, you have to be careful about maintenance.

I also made the exhaust system bracket myself. With a focus on weight reduction, the tap is cut into the bracket and the nut is eliminated. The bolts in almost all visible areas are changed to titanium or aluminum. GALE SPEED wheels are as good as new, but she has changed them to low friction bearings. Fuel economy improved by about 2 km per liter on average and increased by 3 km on the motorway. I swing the gears to short but achieves an average of 23 km/h at high speed. The zero point shaft μ has a big influence on the lack of rolling resistance, and I put in three sets of μ: front, rear, and pivot.

Original inner license plate tail tidy.

Commercial products are expensive and I don't have anything I like. There may be some criticism of the back peter, but it's not that I want to hide the license plate. I can actually see it and it passes inspection. The reason for doing this is to take advantage of the silhouette of the machine.

The mirror was also made by myself to reduce the weight. The stock one is just over a kilo on each side. Small blinkers are also compatible with vehicle inspection with E mark.

# rizoma
Light unit

I'll repeat the rear when I build the race cowl.

# Super Now Engineering

Clip-on handlebars
Durable type stand hook
Lever guard

This is our own product. I recommend it because of its low cost and high-quality parts. Touring users will be happy to know that they can choose the hanging angle of the handlebar. The normal SC82 has 10 degrees, but I experimented with 8 degrees and it is very good. This makes me want to try six degrees...

# ACCOSSATO
Aluminum Tank Cap Ver.3 HONDA01

It's nonsense to refuel with the key in the ignition when it's keyless! That said, it's also quite a bit lighter. Because it doesn't fit as it is, I processed it by myself and attached it.

Customization that I want to do in the future

- Full Exhaust Titanium System
- Cleverwolf's endurance cowl and seat when it comes out.
