Kawasaki Heavy Industry announced that they will unveil 6 new models targeting Europe at Intermot 2016 which will be taken place in Cologne, Germany for 5 days from October 5, 2016.
They will exhibit a sport tourer; Ninja 1000 (Z1000SX), all-round sport; Ninja 650, flagship of Ninja series; Ninja H2 Carbon(limited edition, for street) , Ninja H2R: (for closed course), Ninja ZX-10R's variation model; Ninja ZX-10RR, and Z1000 from Z series which is the most well know brand of Kawasaki motorcycles as well as Ninja series.

Overview of 2017 New Models
•Ninja 1000 (European Name: Z1000SX）
This is a sport tourer with high performance and aggressive styling. A practical version of super sport model.
It boasts its brand new appearance while inheriting Ninja series' traditional design. It offers a sharper design by adopting a LED head lamp.
1,043cm3 water-cooled 4-stroke in-line four engine offers a quick throttle response and powerful acceleration at mid range. Its smooth engine characteristics improved controllability and comfortability by changing ECU Program.
Newly shaped screen and fairing improves protection against wind. The seat is enlarged to have provide more support. A lot of practical functions are loaded for comfortable touring.
The combination of the most advanced electronic control technology and the total management package for engines and chassis, KCMF(Kawasaki Cornering Management Function), will make it realize to offer sporty yet sophisticated ride at the same time.

•Ninja 650
Ninja 650 is a well-balanced all-round sport model which is sporty-yet-comfortable.
Its appearance is changed to slim and sharp looking which you can recall the super sport bike, Ninja ZX-10R with.
Compact and lightweight 649cm3 water-cooled; 4-stroke in-line four engine will provide powerful torque at the low to mid rpm and quick throttle response.
Ninja 650 is updated with a new frame trellis style and newly designed horizontal back link rear suspension for better and lighter handling.
You can enjoy exiting sporty ride while handling it without any worries. It is full of practical features such as a light and slim body, rather-high handle, a seat with a good ground reach, height-adjustable screen, and so on for your daily motorcycle ride.

•Ninja H2 Carbon and Ninja H2R
As a flagship of Ninja series, this is the hyper performance model developed with all technology Kawasaki Heavy Industry Group has. 998cm3 water-cooled 4-stroke in-line four engine which is clearly different from naturally aspirated engines will realize the overwhelming acceleration.
In addition to the newly adopted TTX 36 rear suspension made by Ohlins, the Carbon edition, which is limited to 120 units world-wide, features a carbon fiber upper cowl, a new paint treatment and – like its H2 and H2R stable mates for the 2017 season - an IMU measuring 6 degrees of machine attitude and a raft of electronic rider aids such as Kawasaki’s innovative cornering management function. In addition, each machine in the new three bike range is now equipped with a bank angle display that records and displays lean angle when riding.
Ninja H2 Carbon is for street use and it will be a limited edition model featuring a carbon-fiber upper cowl similar to that of the Ninja H2R, special paint and a serial number plate. Only 120 units will be produced.A circuit model, Ninja H2R shows off its supercharged engine with an output exceeding 300 PS. Newly developed carbon fiber down control wing made by Vortex will cause down force to enforce the stability at the ultra high speed range.

•Ninja ZX-10RR
Variation model of Ninja ZX-R Supersport.
998cm3 water-cooled; 4-stroke in-line four engine which is powerful and has very good controllability is now improved its performance and reliability in the ultimate range with the knowledge Kawasaki gained from racing activities.
It is adopted with lightweight forged aluminum wheels which has reduced moment of inertia co- developed with Marchesini. Its circuit performance is improved when used with exclusively designed high-performance tires. The design of this model is reflecting the image of the winter test model of Kawasaki Racing Team (KRT).

•Z1000
It has the largest displacement among Z series which is the most well know brand of Kawasaki motorcycles as well as Ninja series. ECU Program (Engine Control Unit which controls a series of actuators to make sure things are running smoothly within the engine) will provide the power smoothly to let the rider control the motorcycle with confidence while making use of its aggressive machine characteristics.
It is now conformed to European emission standard, "Euro 4" since the catalyzer is now changed. When it comes to chassis, it realized lighter and more natural handling by changing the setting of front/rear suspension.
It now provides better control by revising the brake components. Gear position indicator and shift up indicator on the instrument panel will help you enjoy the sporty ride. Blinkers and rear inner fender are now in different shape to emphasize Z's innovative image.
