Honda will release the 2025 models of its mid-size scooters, the PCX and PCX160, on Thursday, February 6, 2025. The new PCX, which was announced overseas, has been given a new look with a major update to its exterior and compliance with the latest exhaust gas regulations, and the color variations have also been completely updated.
The prices will be PHP142451.41 for the PCX and PHP173418.88 for the PCX160.
The fifth-generation PCX gets a new look with a sporty look
The 124cc scooter PCX series was introduced in 2010. The PCX160, which shares the same body but has an increased displacement of 156cc, has been improved from the original 150cc and has been improved over time. Due to its high-quality ride, it has been a popular model that has reigned as a best-seller for over 10 years.
The PCX has undergone a fifth-generation model change with the 2025 model. The eSP+ engine is compliant with the latest exhaust gas regulations EURO5+ with the same specifications. There are no major changes in performance, but the appearance and equipment have been significantly updated.
The most noticeable change is the front mask. The large V-shaped LED light is integrated with the turn signal, and the keel added to the fairing has transformed it into an edgy and stylish face. The taillight design has also been revised to a simple straight line type, and the impression of the rear view has also been updated.
PCX (2025) The new PCX was announced overseas. Changes have been made mainly to the exterior and lighting.
The headlights are V-shaped with integrated turn signals, giving the motorcycle a stylish look.
The taillight has been changed from the previous "X" type to a horizontal, streamlined design.
There are also changes to the details, with a new cover added to the handlebars. In addition, the material of the seat leather has been revised to pursue a more comfortable exterior. Unlike the DX that appeared in the overseas specification, the meter continues to use the inverted LCD monitor as before, but a new design that emphasizes the partition part has been adopted.
The color variations have also been completely updated. Four new colors are available: "Matte Starry Blue," "Pearl Jupiter Gray," "Pearl Magellanic Black," and "Pearl Snowflake White."
The release date for both the PCX and PCX160 is Thursday, February 6, 2025. The price is PHP142451.41 for the PCX and PHP173418.88 for the PCX160, which is an increase of PHP6193.26 for the PCX and PHP18580.36 for the PCX160 from the previous price. The planned annual sales volume is 18,500 units of the PCX and 6,500 units of the PCX160.
The styling has not only been revised at the front, but the design up to the tail cowl has also been refined to give it a sporty look.
The meters continue to use the same inverted LCD monitor as before. The design has undergone some changes.
A new cover has been added to the handlebar post, and the cockpit design has also been updated.
