From measures to prevent deterioration of the exterior over time to motorcycle reconstruction menu
"This Kawasaki Zephyr 1100 was originally almost stock, but the reason we started working on it like this was because of the rust on the engine. As you all know, there is white rust on the exterior. We started working on cleaning that up, and when we removed the engine to do so, the entire frame was visible, so we decided to clean that up as well, including the suspension and exterior...and that's how we ended up with this full customization."
Mr. Tsuchiya of Bagus Motorcycles explains the origins of this motorcycle. The flat black engine and repainted frame, which were worked on as he said, create an atmosphere that is better than a new car, and it certainly looks good. The work proceeded with the owner's consent, and the basic desire to make the motorcycle beautiful deepened to the desire to improve the vehicle and enjoy it for a long time to come, leading to this specification.
So while the fully painted exterior gives it a flashy look, it also gives the impression that it would look great even if any model was fitted with a beautiful standard color exterior. With that in mind, this composition based on "making it beautiful" is quite attractive. By the way, this engine is normal inside.
"Many motorcycles that look dirty have been roughly handled and the inside is just as it is. On the other hand, vehicles that look clean despite the mileage can be judged to have been carefully maintained with oil changes and other maintenance. This motorcycle was in good condition, so the inside was left as it was.
Even with other motorcycles, we check the condition of the motorcycle after it is brought in by test riding it or measuring the compression, and we match the work to the customer's request. If it smokes or consumes a lot of oil, we will also work on the inside. However, since there is also a balance between work and budget, if it is brought in for a different order, we may inform you of the condition and decide to work on it next time.
Including this, it seems that more and more people are servicing and customizing Zephyrs, especially the 1100, while cleaning them up. We also receive requests to make the customization method itself like the motorcycles listed on our website. We appreciate this. However, some of the motorcycles were made a while ago, so we consider the changes in parts and methods and adjust the parts that would look like this if we made them now.
To make the most of the parts that can be improved by customization, the base must be good. Then we combine individualization and updates. The Zephyr 1100 is now effective in such methods and increases its appeal. This motorcycle is a good example of this.
Detailed Description
Two active digital monitors have been added to the cockpit. The handlebars are EFFEX, and the active stem kit can be installed to accommodate a 17-inch front wheel. The left and right master valves are radial pump Brembo RCS, and the turn signals are Sphere Light sequential, giving it a modern feel.

The seats are made of high-quality Alcantara and the shape has been adjusted to make them comfortable to sit in. A bikini cowl has also been added, and the exterior has been wrapped with paint.

The 1062cc 4-cylinder engine with DOHC 2 valves and twin plug heads was in good condition, so the inside was left as standard. The exterior was cleaned up like a new car, and when the engine was removed during the work, the frame was refreshed in the same way. Bagus hopes to expand the range of work they can do in the future.

The carburetor is FCR φ37mm. The engine was originally finished in silver, but the customization of this motorcycle started with cleaning up the rust that had appeared on the cylinder head, cylinder, and crankcase over the years, but it looks as if it was originally finished in black.

The front forks are Ohlins RWU, and the front brakes are Brembo 4-piston calipers set up with Sunstar Premium Racing Disc Type C (the inner disc color is the same as the company's Works Expanded Disc).

The wheels are forged aluminum Marchesini M10RS, 3.50-17/6.00-17 size. The 17-inch wheels on the front and rear and the weight reduction make it light and easy to ride.

The rear brake is a Brembo CNC 2-piston caliper with a Sunstar disc. The rear suspension is an active press-formed swingarm with an Ohlins shock absorber, with consideration given to the balance between performance and volume. The exhaust is made of Bagus original titanium.
