A power unit with excellent riding performance and fuel efficiency
The engine installed in the NMAX 125/TECH MAX is an economical 125cc engine developed using Yamaha's Blue Core technology, and complies with EURO5+ emission regulations. It also has a start-stop system that minimizes fuel consumption while reducing emissions and keeping running costs down. The fuel tank has a capacity of 7.1L, allowing it to travel approximately 300km on a single tank of fuel.
A traction control system is standard equipment that allows you to ride safely even on low-traction surfaces, automatically adjusting the power level to the rear wheel to prevent wheel slippage. In addition, the lightweight 13-inch aluminum alloy wheels are fitted with wide tires of 110/70 in the front and 130/70-13 in the rear.
