Kawasaki Motors will hold a collaborative event with JR East called "Meguro and Meguro Retrospective." The event will look back on the history of the town of Meguro and the motorcycle "Meguro" at Meguro Station in Tokyo, and will also feature vehicle displays and the sale of original goods. Stamp and walking rallies will also be held.
The event will run for one month from September 1st (Sun) to 30th (Mon), 2024.

Meguro, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, where Meguro Manufacturing was once located. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the company's founding, and Meguro Station will celebrate its 140th year since opening in January 2025. Kawasaki and JR East will hold a "Meguro and Meguro Retrospective Exhibition" in the station, looking back on the history of the town of Meguro and the motorcycle "Meguro".
In addition to the panel exhibition, the venue set up in front of the central ticket gate of the station will also have vehicle displays and Kawasaki original goods for sale. Four motorcycles will be on display: Meguro Z-type, Meguro's first completed commercially available car, which was also used in the movie "Godzilla-1.0", the 1960 "Meguro K2", and Kawasaki's new models "MEGURO S1" and "W230", which will continue the Meguro lineage. The original goods are unique and were created to coincide with the retrospective exhibition, and include logo tote bags, stickers, and rubber key chains.

Collaboration Event [Stamp rally in places related to Meguro].
Meguro Manufacturing was evacuated to Karasuyama in Tochigi Prefecture after the war. The Karasuyama Line celebrated its 100th anniversary last year, and a stamp rally will be held to connect areas related to Meguro in Tokyo and Tochigi.

How to Participate:
(1) Obtain an exclusive stamp mount from one of the following stations: Meguro, Mejiro, Osaki, Hoshakuji, Karasuyama, or Utsunomiya.
(2) Station stamps are stamped at stations eligible for station stamps.
(3) First-come-first-served visitors will receive wonderful prizes depending on the combination of station stamps they have collected.

A walk rally using the digital sightseeing tour application "Spot Tour" will be held. Visitors can tour around Meguro, the birthplace of "MEGURO", collecting digital stamps.
