Chinese motorcycle brand BENDA Motorcycles will introduce the cruiser model "LFC700 Pro" to the European market. This new futuristic cruiser has super-large wide tires, a circular turbine-like face, and a retractable headlight.
The flagship of a new manufacturer entering the European market with an inline-4 cruiser
BENDA is a new manufacturer that was established in China in 2016. They manufacture motorcycles and 4-wheel ATVs, and a wide range of 250-700cc cruiser models characterizes their motorcycles. Their largest model, the flagship model, is the "LFC700". Sales began in China in 2021, and the company began full-scale introduction to Europe in 2024 as the "Pro" model with various updates.
At first glance, the LFC700 Pro has a very unique style. The power unit is a water-cooled inline 4-cylinder engine reminiscent of the former Kawasaki "Eliminator 900", with a displacement of 676cc. With an output of 58kw (78.8PS)/10,050rpm, it is a performance cruiser that delivers power at high revs, typical of an inline 4. The exhaust is a short type with four holes gathered together. The engine's appearance is similar to that of the model installed on the Honda "CBR650R", but the shape of the side covers and cylinder head are different.

LCF700 [2024] The LCF700 has been on sale in China since 2021. It is BENDA's largest engine displacement cruiser.

The suspension is equipped with inverted forks and radial-mount Brembo calipers. The front wheel is 19 inches.

The air intakes on the front mask, resembling a wave motion gun, accentuate its strange appearance.

The engine is a 676c water-cooled inline 4-cylinder, and looks similar to Honda's engines of the same class.
The wide tires create a hot rod look
But that's not all. The wheel size is large, 19 inches in the front and 18 inches in the rear, with the rear tire being an extremely wide 310/35-18. Wide tires of this class are sometimes prepared by builders as custom specifications for New School Choppers, but it is unheard of for a manufacturer to equip them as standard equipment. In addition, the unique circular air intake on the front mask and retractable lights installed in the side fairings give it a very luxurious finish.
In terms of equipment, it is equipped with sporty features such as a digital TFT LCD meter, inverted forks, and Brembo brake calipers, and also features air suspension that automatically adjusts the seat height. The seat height is not high at 695mm, but considering the weight of the motorcycle, which does not betray its appearance at 287kg, it seems to contribute to the ease of getting up and down. The price of the LFC700 Pro in Europe is $12174.94 at the exchange rate in August 2024. There are currently no plans to introduce it in Japan, but attention will be focused on whether it will gain popularity in Europe.

The rear tire is a wide 310mm, which is a size that is rarely seen even on custom motorcycles.

The "Pro" model features retractable lights in the side fairings.

The fairing also lights up, giving it a strong presence. It gives off a cyberpunk-style Ducati Diavel vibe.

The seat height is not particularly high at 695mm, but the motorcycle's height can be adjusted using air suspension. Will it be popular in Europe?
