Kawasaki has announced the new color scheme for the 2025 Ninja ZX-10RR in Europe. The 2023 model has been modified to adopt variable funnels, and this time the only change is the color. Since the works team has withdrawn from racing, this may be the last RR model.
Kawasaki Puccetti Racing will take over the SBK factory machine in 2025.
Kawasaki has announced the 2025 Ninja series in Europe, and revealed the new color of the ZX-10RR. The previous lime green has been changed to a sophisticated metallic matte graphenesteel gray, and no changes have been made to the mechanicals or other parts of the model.
The 2023 ZX-10RR will feature a variable air intake system (VAI), which improves performance across the entire range by varying the height of the funnel at high and low rpm. This change will work with the race ECU, but the ZX-10RR still hasn't managed to reclaim the title.
At the same time as the new car was announced, it was also announced that Italy-based Kawasaki Puccetti Racing would take over operation of the ZX-10RR factory machine in SBK from the 2025 season, making it highly likely that the Kawasaki factory team would withdraw from SBK.
However, it was also announced that the Bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team will be launched in April 2024, and it has been decided that the Kawasaki factory team (KRT) will collaborate with Bimota to compete in SBK. The machine will of course be a Bimota-built machine equipped with a 10R engine.
The 2025 models of the ZX-10R and ZX-10RR do not comply with the Euro 5+ regulations, so their future is attracting attention.
