Kawasaki Motors Japan will release the 2025 model of the super sports motorcycle "ZX-10R" on September 1st. There are no changes to the specifications or equipment, but both the standard and KRT editions feature new graphics.
The price will be $16357.23, an increase of $298.76 from the previous model.
Kawasaki ends its works participation in WSBK, appearing in final factory livery
The Ninja ZX-10R was released in 2004. The 2021 full model change saw the addition of a reverse-slant cowl and an oil cooler, which were strengthened with feedback from the ZX-10RR factory machine that continues to compete in the WSBK. The water-cooled in-line 4-cylinder 998cc engine produces 213.1PS/11,400rpm with ram air pressure and a maximum torque of 11.7kgf-m/11,400rpm. The suspension is equipped with a fork that comes standard with SHOWA BFF and BFRC lite and uses a Brembo M50 monoblock caliper. In terms of equipment, it has also been sharpened with a KQS (Kawasaki Quick Shifter), electronic cruise control, and a TFT LCD meter with a smartphone connection function.
The specifications remain unchanged in this model change. Still, the Ninja ZX-10R KRT EDITION has been changed to graphics that imitate the Kawasaki Racing Team's ZX-10RR, which will compete in WSBK again this year. The yellow and black accents stand out against the lime green, but Kawasaki has announced that it will end its WSBK participation at the end of 2024, so this is likely to be the last specification for the works team's replica color. However, Kawasaki has not completely withdrawn from WSBK and will continue to supply ZX-10RR engines from next year in collaboration with Bimota.
The color of the standard model has also been revised, and a one-color "Metallic Flat Spark Black x Ebony" has been introduced. The previous green lines have been eliminated, creating a calm and bold graphic.
It will be released on Sunday, September 1, 2024, and the price will be $16357.23 for both the standard and KRT editions, a price increase of $298.76 from the previous price. It will only be available at Kawasaki Plaza stores nationwide.

Ninja ZX-10R KRT EDITION [2025] Released in a new color scheme that follows the KRT currently competing in WSBK.

The ZX-10R achieved six consecutive victories in WSBK from 2015 to 2020. The works team will withdraw at the end of this year.

The 2021 model change equipped it with an engine that produces 213.1 PS and cruise control.

The meter also uses a digital TFT LCD and is equipped with a smartphone link function.
