Johan Nigon returns to the scene of one his greatest FIM Endurance World Championship triumphs next month when he contests the 8 Hours of Spa Motos with Honda No Limits.

Nigon was part of the Team LH Racing line-up that claimed EWC Superstock gold at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in June 2022.

For the Dunlop-equipped French rider, another strong result at the legendary Belgian venue is a must after a heavy crash for team-mate Alexis Masbou forced Italy-based Honda No Limits to retire from the EWC season-opening 24 Heures Motos last month.

Not this time, Nigon posted on Facebook. After a good start a first fall brought us down in the standings. But the whole team did a great job climbing back up to sixth place in Superstock. Unfortunately, a second fall badly damaged the bike and forced us to retire. Frustrated as we had podium ability but this is the laws of endurance racing. Luckily my team-mates ae okay and I was still happy with my faster relays compared to last year. We will be back in Spa.

Italy’s Lorenzo Gabellini and team newcomer Philipp Steinmayr, from Austria, also formed part of the Honda No Limits attack at Le Mans.

The first running of the 8 Hours of Spa Motos is next on the EWC schedule with Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium gearing up to host the action from 6-8 June. Ticket information is available HERE.
