BMRT3D maxxess Nevers marked its step up from Superstock to Formula EWC with an impressive achievement when the 24 Heures Motos at Le Mans opened the 2024 FIM Endurance World Championship season last month.

Of the 27 classified finishers, the Kawasaki-powered team from France spent the least amount of time in the pits, a total of 27m57.862s as riders Loris Cresson, Jonathan Hardt and Julien Pilot finished a fine eighth overall and seventh in the EWC’s headlining category.

A Facebook post from the squad read:

Our team shone as the fastest in the stand, with a total time of just 27 minutes and 57 seconds, a source of great pride for us.

Around 21h30 we encountered a minor technical problem that cost us only a few minutes. Luckily we quickly regained our original position. Our relays ran smoothly. We were determined not to give up.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude for the invaluable encouragement, kindness and warm messages. Our partners have also played a crucial role in our success, and we extend our sincere thanks.

BMRT3D maxxess Nevers will be in the thick of the EWC action when Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps hosts round two of the season from 6-8 June.
