BMW Motorrad has announced the release of the 2024 R1250R model. The redesigned model features some equipment changes and adds Gear Assistant Pro. A new design option silencer/header exhaust pipe has been introduced.

Big roadster model with a boxer engine
The R1250R, launched in 2019 as the successor to the R1200R, is a large road sport model equipped with a liquid-cooled horizontally opposed engine. It has a displacement of 1254 cc and a maximum output of 136 PS at 7,750 rpm. It is the only large-size naked model in BMW's lineup other than the Heritage series to be equipped with a boxer twin engine, and its unique pulse and state-of-the-art riding performance make it a model that can be enjoyed in a variety of situations. The five ride mode changes (Dynamic/Dynamic Pro/RAIN/ROAD/ECO) allow the model to be used for everything from aggressive riding to leisurely touring. The 12V power socket and DTC (Dynamic Traction Control) provide convenient and safe riding.
The redesigned model adds a new Gear Assist Pro system that eliminates the need to shift gears. Furthermore, a chrome design optional silencer and header exhaust pipe have been adopted. Three color variations are available: Ice Gray, Racing Blue Metallic, and Black Storm Metallic.
