From ACTIVE, a manufacturer and distributor of original custom parts comes a swingarm for the Kawasaki Z900RS/Cafe.
The square pipe material for the main tube was designed from scratch to obtain the ideal rigidity and stiffness. A special extrusion mold was created to produce the optimum material.
Designed for the dynamic riding feel inherent to neo-classic and old naked models, the response to a gas pedal operation is more direct. The swingarm is designed for riders who prefer a more responsive feel when cornering.

Newly developed figure of mouth cross section pipe 95 x 36 mm
Extruded material formed with a special die mold. Ideal length-to-length ratio dimensions to allow moderate relief from road surface thrust during banking. Stand hooks are under development.
Pursuit of turning performance
To improve turning performance, the pipe is designed with the longest section that is kept straight without bending the pipe. The end pieces are hollow 3D machined to optimize rigidity and finished at the lightest weight.
Pivot for coaxiality
Machining the bearing housing after the strain-prone welding process increases precision. The pivot shaft bearing is centered (coaxiality) to make the rear shock work smoothly.
Press-formed cross pipes
The arched crosspipes supporting the mouth cross-section pipe are press-formed to disperse stresses that would otherwise be concentrated at the base of the joint during banking.
