Gabriel Pons will return to Team 33 Louit April Moto for the upcoming 24H SPA EWC Motos.

Pons has been called on to replace Simone Saltarelli in Team 33 Louit April Moto’s Dunlop Superstock Trophy line-up due to the Italian having a pre-existing commitment.

The Frenchman helped Team 33 Louit April Moto to a Superstock category podium in the 2017 Bol d’Or.

He also has experience of the 6.985-kilometre Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps after he was part of the Item 17 team that won the Experimental Class in the inaugural 24H SPA EWC Motos in 15th overall last June.

Pons posted on Facebook: It's a real pleasure to find this family and well-performing team whose last collaboration to date was rewarded with the second place in SST in the Bol d'Or in 2017. Also pleased to have the handlebars back on this Kawasaki ZX10R that I particularly like and I know pretty well. A big thank you to Fréderic Louit and Benoit Leveillard for this great opportunity and for the trust they give me.

Kevin Calia and Christian Gamarino will partner Pons at Team 33 Louit April Moto in the second 24H SPA EWC Motos from 16-18 June.
