Gino Rea continued his mission to return to the top in the FIM Endurance World Championship with an amazing day of riding in Spain today (Wednesday).

The Briton, who suffered serious injuries in a crash during practice for the 43rd Coca-Cola Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Race last August, was in action at the Circuito de Cartagena.

He posted the following message on Facebook: Another day on track! Amazing day of riding, back on a good pace! Massive thank you to Motomecanica JW for the help with the bike and trackday and to JMR Racing Events for an amazing trackday event Circuito de Cartagena. So good to ride a track bike again and get up to proper speed. Massive thanks to Bridgestone for the awesome tyres. Until next time!

While Rea’s comeback is continuing apace, his EWC rivals are preparing for next week’s 24H SPA EWC Motos, round two of the 2023 season, from 16-18 June.
