KTM Japan will release the new KTM 890 SMT for the 2023 model year. It shares engine components with the company's 890 DUKE and 890 ADVENTURE but is a supermotard that aims for both performances on asphalt surfaces and touring performance.
It will be released in August 2023, priced at (approx.) 12906 USD.
There will be only one color lineup, black and white.

The KTM 890 SMT is the newest model in KTM's SMT (Super Moto Touring) series of supermotards. The liquid-cooled, parallel twin-cylinder, DOHC 890 LC8c engine, already used in the 890 DUKE and 890 ADVENTURE, has been tuned and developed to achieve the top power/torque-to-weight ratio in the motard segment. With a street-focused chassis, adjustable suspension, premium tires, brakes, and other components, this model meets the needs of riders in between the KTM ADVENTURE and KTM STREET lineups.
