EWC star Florian Alt was on race-winning form when the Internationale Deutsche Motorradmeisterschaft season started up at the Sachsenring in Germany last weekend.
After Illya Mykhalchyk won the first race for BCC-alpha-Van Zon-BMW, Alt, who competes against Mykhalchyk in the FIM Endurance World Championship, took top honours in Race 2 on a Holzhauer Racing Promotion Honda.
The Honda Viltaïs Racing EWC race winner posted on Facebook: We stayed focused and finished P2 and P1. Lap Record included. That’s how we want to keep working.
Alt and Mykhalchyk will soon be turning their attentions to the 24H SPA EWC Motos, the second round of the EWC season from 16-18 June.
