Kawasaki has announced the release of the 2023 Ninja 250. The Ninja 250 is a popular sports model equipped with an easy-to-manage parallel twin-cylinder engine. The new Ninja 250 complies with the latest 2020 emission regulations, and its maximum output and torque have been changed. The Ninja 250 is now available in two new colors, and a KRT EDITION is also included in the lineup. The new model will go on sale on February 15, 2023, at a price of (approx.) 4920 USD.
Color renewal. Minor changes to engine specs.
The Ninja 250 has been in the lineup since 2013 and is one of the most popular 250cc sports models. It underwent a full model change in 2018, with a sharply angled design style shared with the ZX-10R and increased engine output to 37 PS. ABS and an assist and slipper clutch were adopted to increase its fighting power.
No changes have been made to these features in this model change. However, in order to comply with the latest emission regulations (2020 emission regulations), the engine specifications have been reviewed, and maximum output has been reduced by 2 PS to 35 hp at 12500 rpm, and the maximum torque has been reduced by 0.1 kg/m to 2.2 kg-m at 10500 rpm.
The coloring is all new and updated. The lineup includes the black-based "Metallic Carbon Gray x Metallic Matte Carbon Gray" and the flat navy blue "Metallic Magnetic Dark Gray x Metallic Matte Twilight Blue".
The lime green KRT (Kawasaki Racing Team) EDITION, which was not included in the lineup for the 2022 model year, is back this time. The new model also features graphics inspired by the Ninja ZX-10RR, which competes in the Superbike World Championship. Specifications are the same as the standard model.
The release date is February 15, 2023, and the price will be (approx.) 4920 USD for both the standard model/KRT EDITION.
