For those who have such concerns, we have selected the top five motorcycles from the satisfaction rankings of the past year, based on the evaluations and comments of the owners registered on Webike!
In this issue, we introduce the popular large motorcycles in (1001cc and UP) models.

*This ranking article was produced on October 12, 2022.

What is Satisfaction Ranking?
The ranking is based on the number of My Bike registrations per vehicle type and the overall rating points given by users. The ranking is updated every Friday.

1. SUZUKI HAYABUSA

Suzuki's flagship Hayabusa won the number one position for satisfaction in the largest displacement class of 1001 cc and above, or in other words, the pinnacle of motorcycles. The Hayabusa's powerful looks, which are recognizable to anyone who sees it, and the overwhelming performance of its 1339 cc straight-four engine are the reasons why its owners are so satisfied with its performance.

The motorcycle weighs 264 kg, so it is not easy to maneuver, but according to them, it is overwhelmingly stable from low speed to high speed. Once you start riding, you will not feel the weight of the motorcycle, and you will be able to ride it with ease.
They also said that the motorcycle is more compact than it looks and feels very lightweight.

Also, according to the owner, who has been riding the motorcycle since the first generation, the reviewer said that the motorcycle turns better than expected in curves because it is easier to put down than the first generation.
It is evident that the sporty handling is a major reason why the motorcycle continues to be loved by customers.

2. HONDA CB1300 Super Boldor

The 2nd place in satisfaction is Super Bol d'Or, a cowl version of the long-selling CB1300 series.
With plenty of torque thanks to ample displacement, the riding part is the most satisfying, as you can ride smoothly with a sense of stability no matter where you ride, whether it's in the city, on a mountain pass, or on a highway.
Is it the result that the high wind resistance of the cowl exceeds the satisfaction level of the naked Super Four?
The accessory compartments on both sides of the cowl are also popular with touring users as they are very convenient.

Another key point is that the current model is equipped with an assisted slipper clutch, making clutch operation lighter.
The motorcycle weighs 272 kg, making it a bit difficult to maneuver, but some say that once you start riding, you will not feel the weight as much as you thought you would.

There is also an advanced version, SP, equipped with Öhlins suspension and Brembo calipers for a higher-quality ride.
In addition, a 30th-anniversary commemorative model is scheduled to be released soon.

3. KAWASAKI ZX-14R

The flagship machine with a large displacement of 1441 cc and 200 hp, is the twin of the Hayabusa.
The four-lens headlight and the powerful looks of the Hayabusa and the fact that it is fast, yet easier to ride and better at cornering than one would expect, were almost equally ranked as the top satisfies in terms of riding performance.

As is typical of grand tourers, many owners enjoyed long-distance touring mainly on highways, but there were also more owners than expected who enjoyed riding tandem. Some said that the double seats, which have few bumps, are quite comfortable to ride in. In general, the majority of the satisfaction was in the area of being able to move around at a stretch without getting tired due to its cool looks and ample power, and aerodynamic performance.

Unfortunately, new vehicle sales in Japan will cease as of 2020, and the only way to obtain one now is to look for a used one. The used motorcycle prices listed on Webike Bike Selection have been on a gradual upward trend since this spring, but it is still possible to find one for an average of (approx.) 10420 USD.

4. HONDA CB1300 Super Four

The 4th place is the CB1300 Super Four, which can be called the Japanese Naked Hall of Fame, and was rated as the most satisfying for its looks. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the ancestor CB1000 Super Fore, which was launched as Project BIG-1, and it has been 19 years since it became the current base model. During that time, numerous improvements have been made.

Many owners were enjoying the ultimate level of perfection, such as the lightweight, easy turning even on mountain passes, powerful sound, and ample space for small items under the seat.

Like the Superboldor, an advanced version of the SP exists here as well.
A 30th-anniversary commemorative motorcycle is also scheduled to be released soon as well. There is talk that perhaps production will end with it, so those who want one may want to get their hands on it as soon as possible.

5. HONDA CB1100RS

With the rise of the neo-retro boom, the CB1100 series was born in 2010, nearly a decade into the 21st century, with a newly designed air-cooled straight-4 engine that went to great lengths to comply with difficult emission regulations.
The RS was introduced in 2017 as a variation of this series and is a sporty model with a reinforced suspension.

The most satisfying aspect of the motorcycle is its retro look, which makes it feel like a real motorcycle. The cooling fins, which are unique to the air-cooled engine, add to the authenticity of the engine. Some say the engine has a wonderful throaty sound and feel. As for the ride, the RS has relatively modern handling, so it can be enjoyed nimbly even on winding roads, which was well-received.

Unfortunately, the CB1100 series will end production with the Final Edition in 2021. Used CB1100s have been flooded with popularity and the market price is currently skyrocketing. It is not unusual for the price of a used CB1100 to be higher than the price of a new CB1100.
