YOSHIMURA's racing slider kit "PRO SHIELD", which reflects the technology and design used in YOSHIMURA racers, will be available for the CBR650R and CB650R (19-20) in late August.
These racing sliders are used in endurance races to minimize damage in the event of a fall and allow the rider to return to the race. The sliders are designed to reduce the risk of chassis damage by reducing the impact and sliding effect in the event of a crash on the street, winding roads, or on the track.
The base bracket is fixed at three points to reduce damage to the engine and engine mount bolts in the event of a fall.
The slider uses a streamlined design and red anodized aluminum plate, which is stylish and matches the style of the motorcycle. It is laser marked with YOSHIMURA logo. The material used is machined POM, which has excellent abrasion resistance and self-lubricating properties. In the event that it gets scraped off in a fall, it can be replaced.
