Suzuka Circuit Renames the International Racing Course Chicane as the Hitachi Astemo Chicane

The Suzuka Circuit has announced that it has changed the name of the "chicane" on the International Racing Course to "Hitachi Automotive Systems Chicane," effective March 30, in accordance with a change in the company name of its naming rights partner.

The naming rights will apply to the chicanes at turns 16 and 17 of the International Racing Course, which will be named the Hitachi Astemo Chicane.

Hitachi Astemo, the naming rights partner, is a company engaged in the development, manufacture, sale and service of automotive parts, and machinery, equipment and systems for transportation and industrial use.
