For the casual rider

Originally I was looking for a protector to wear under my off-road jersey.

I was looking at inner type jackets from Komine and Power Age, but although they have CE approved protectors, the range of protection is narrow, and they are just generic protectors embedded, so they are very blocky, and I couldn't find anything that satisfied me in terms of usability.

I finally bought this product, which has a finely divided protector that is arranged to fit the body andThe protection range and comfort was excellent. Also, because the protector is thin enough to not pass CE standards, you can wear a hoodie, a short sleeve Y shirt, or a large t-shirt over it. 201120_inprez_255_2.jpg
The thinner it is, the less protection it provides, but overseas reviews say:
"During a flat track race, I got hit by a motorcycle behind me, but I only got bruises!",
"I went trekking in the mountains in a short-sleeved t-shirt, and I fell, but I survived! Because I was wearing this!"

I didn't get seriously injured even though I had a wild experience! In fact, I hit my chest and arm on a rock when I fell forward on the riverbank. In fact, I hit my chest and arms on a rock when I fell forward on a riverbank, but there was no damage. Even though it is thin, the D3O protector is enough to protect me if I fall at low speed. If you don't race, I think it is practical enough. On the downside, if you wear it directly on the ground, the sleeves don't go through well, so you have to wear one layer inside, and finally, you have to wear three layers: inner, this product, and outer. The back protector in particular does not ventilate well, so it gets quite hot. Since there are many mesh jackets to choose from in the same price range, I cannot recommend this product to everyone, but I would definitely recommend it to casual riders. As with all ICON products, it is a so-called international size, so sizing down one size is recommended. I'm normally a medium size, but the S was just right for me.

Point: Foreigners rave about this one! The more prepared you are, the better!
The best thing for a protector system is to not be "used"! But your review of the actual use and damage is invaluable! Thank you for your honesty about how it feels to wear, and for so generously showing us what happened when you fell and where you made contact!
Another crown for such a contributor, the "I'm going to live a long time" award!
