Yoshimura will release the "Rearset Kit X-TREAD" which will be for the ZX-25R in late March 2021.
The X-TREAD footpeg KIT expands the driving possibilities of lightweight middle sports and supports riding in a variety of situations from touring to sports driving.
The high-precision machined aluminum parts with bearings in the moving parts and the high-grip footpeg bars not only optimize the position, but also directly transmit the rider's movements to the machine, such as the feeling of shifting and braking, and the control of load extraction during cornering.
The "X-TREAD" series is a new footpeg KIT that embodies the spirit of Yoshimura.

Features
The heel plate is set in a shape that is strong enough to withstand a strong hold and easy to maneuver to prevent the riding boots from getting caught. It has 4 adjustable positions to accommodate different body types and riding styles.
The fixed footpeg bar is machined more intricately than a standard knurled footpeg bar to directly transmit weight to the vehicle body, and the tip of the pedal is rubberized to prevent slipping and ensure reliable pedal operation.
The position of the pedal bar can be adjusted in 3 positions on the shift side and 2 positions on the brake side. Two bearings are incorporated in the pedal axle for smooth and direct shifting and braking feel. The shift pedal can be adjusted in five different positions. ABS and brake switch compatible.
Design
The design of the 3-sided heel plate pays homage to the shape used on the Yoshimura GSX-R1000 racer. The weight is reduced by using a meat removal process similar to racing parts. The heel plate has passed the standard set by Yoshimura by selecting the shape and material and testing the strength.
Imprinted "Yoshimura X-TREAD" logo on heel plate. The anodized aluminum color "Slate Gray" is adopted to assert a high quality presence.
The serial number is laser marked as a proof of high performance and quality, and no two serial numbers are the same in this world.
Material and quality
Aluminum alloy of the grade used for aerospace equipment is used as the main material. The footpeg bar is made from a low-tension aluminum alloy, which reduces the risk of the footpeg bar bending during a fall and damaging the base plate and frame.
