The Long Wait is Over! The 2020 KAWASAKI NINJA ZX-25R is Finally Launched!

Finally, the 2020 KAWASAKI NINJA ZX-25R has been launched in Indonesia. The NINJA ZX-25R was unveiled at last year's Tokyo Motorcycle Show. It was supposed to be released this spring, but the schedule was postponed due to the lockdown caused by COVID-19. However, the long-awaited release began on July 10.

The KAWASAKI NINJA ZX-25R is a completely new design, with a 249cc in-line 4-cylinder engine rated at 50ps (51ps under ram air pressure) at 15500rpm. The chassis has a specially designed trellis frame.

Moreover, it has luxury features such as 2-stage full power/low power modes, KTRC (Kawasaki Traction Control) with 3-mode switching, assist and slipper clutch, and a radial-mounted monoblock caliber. The SE version is standardly equipped (STD optional) with KQS (Kawasaki Quick Shifter/2500rpm or more) compatible for both up/down with auto-blipper. Front and rear tires are equipped with DUNLOP's GPR300 radials.

The Indonesian local price is 96 million rupiahs for STD and 112.9 million rupiahs for ABS SE, which converted to approximately 6,600 USD for STD and 7,800 USD for ABS SE in US dollars.

KAWASAKI NINJA ZX-25R has a very reasonable price considering the equipment. Kudos to KAWASAKI's corporate efforts.
