New Z900RS parts by ARCHI for Spring-Summer 2024! (Part 1)
For those who are looking for items full of originality not found on the average Z900RS, the ARCHI brand produced by PMC introduced a number of items to meet those needs at the Tokyo Motorcycle Show in Spring 2024. Along with these new products, another theme that they set for themselves this year was "further development of option parts" which lead to the evolution of current ARCHI parts that are sure to please their fans. Let's take a look at the details.
ARCHI's charm makes customizing the Z900RS fun!
PMC, known for the development and sale of custom and replica parts for classic bikes such as the Kawasaki Z, created the ARCHI brand for current models. Parts for the popular Z900RS are the mainstay of the ARCHI lineup, and many new products were displayed at the Tokyo Motorcycle Show held in March 2024. But that's not all, while the excitement had not yet worn off, they began developing even more new parts from the very next month.
"First, we would like to show you the 427 Short Pipe Exhaust (6 Piece) Jet Black Edition for the Z900RS," said Akihiro Shimizu of the PMC Sales Promotion Department. Mr. Shimizu is also at the forefront of ARCHI brand product development.
The Jet Black Edition is a high-end model, featuring machined aluminum parts with original jet black plating. This is a special item which will only be available at 25 stores nationwide in Japan, including select shops and Kawasaki dealers. ARCHI's lineup of parts for the Z900RS has been growing, and it is noteworthy that in addition to the usual machined aluminum parts, they have also branched out to creating steel exhausts. The unique color, which is different from black or dark brown and changes depending on how the light hits it, has a distinctly luxurious feel. This product is currently in the midst of trial production and development, and we are eagerly awaiting its commercial launch.
PMC is also focusing on the development of option parts along with the expansion of the Jet Black Edition lineup to other parts. Mr. Shimizu says, "We are developing items that will allow those who have already purchased ARCHI parts to enjoy further product upgrades." For example, upgrades to the Long Tail Cowl Iron Fender Eliminator Kit include Honeycomb Turn Signal Brackets, License Plate Light Kit, and Mirror-coated Turn Signal Lenses.
The above Turn Signal Brackets and Honeycomb License Plate Light are available in three colors of anodized aluminum: black, silver, and marigold.
"Of course it is important to develop new products, but I think that by offering a full lineup of upgrade parts, we can keep our customers coming back, and in other words, keep them as ARCHI fans for a long time. Anyone would be less motivated to customize their bike if they think they've already gotten to the end. Our products will never leave the custom enthusiast bored. We want to be a brand that takes new steps forward along with our customers," says Shimizu.
