ACTIVE exhibited a custom YZF-R7 at the Tokyo Motorcycle Show. They have proposed a combination of bolt-on parts in line with the YZF-R7's design concept of being an easily accessible supersport.

The FZ of old! Coloring makes a difference.

The YZF-R7, which is based on the naked MT-07 but equipped with a full cowl, is an attractive model that is relatively inexpensive for a large supersport; at around 1,000,000 JPY. ACTIVE's R7 is not heavily customized, but rather relies on easily bolted on parts to push it up to the next level. We could say that the most distinctive feature is its coloring. We were taken by surprise at the FZ750 style coloring, which was based on the orange and silver motif of non-Japanese spec models. The R7 logo design also emulates the FZ logo of the time, creating a nostalgic atmosphere despite being the latest model. The most expensive of the parts installed are GALE SPEED's Type-SB forged aluminum wheels, which cost 360,800 JPY for front and rear. Since the size remains the same, no special adjustments are required, and we imagine the 3.7kg weight reduction will have a great overall effect. The suspension is a HYPERPRO Street Box, and since it is a model-specific set, there should be no worries about installation.
