[New products] WR’S has released new slip-on exhausts for the ZX-4R/ZX-25R!
WR'S has released a slip-on exhaust for the ZX-4R SE/ZX-4RR (8BL-ZX400P) and the ZX-25R SE (8BK-ZX250H). They actually had the ZX-4R and ZX-25R that were used for development in their possession for quite some time. After repeated bench testing and trial and error, WR'S has finally come up with a product that they are confident will be the best on the market.

Inside story on the development
We developed these exhausts with particular care regarding "sound quality" rather than "volume". We started with development of the exhaust for the ZX-25R, and while we gave priority to power first, the results were surprisingly interesting. Normally, the larger the diameter of the exhaust outlet, the louder and more powerful it is, but bench tests showed that this was not always the case, and on the contrary, a smaller diameter exhaust was better. Unlike a full exhaust system, a slip-on system is limited in its range, but the results showed that there was still a difference in volume and sound quality. As a result, we succeeded in updating the torque and power in the low-speed range while maintaining the same torque and power in the mid-speed range until peak power is reached.
The ZX-4R exhaust was developed using the ZX-4RR, with the same method, and although there was not as much change as with the ZX-25R exhaust, the peak power was increased by over 1ps without sacrificing the stock characteristics, and the high RPM range was updated while keeping the sound volume under control. The straight structure is seasoned with a heavy bass sound, and the volume is the same 95dB as on the label, or just a little bit higher. The heavy bass is clearly different from stock, allowing you to enjoy the Straight 4 sound. The ZX-25R also has a bass sound, and the volume has been controlled within the range that allows the rider to enjoy the straight-4 sound.
