Lightweight and compact for an adventure bike, the V-Strom 250SX is built with characteristics that allow it to be enjoyed on flat dirt roads and other light off-road riding. However, the concern is damage in the event of a fall. DAYTONA has developed a number of new items to enhance the V-Strom 250SX's protection and travel performance, including a split upper and lower engine guard to reduce damage in the event of a fall, and a windshield extension kit to reduce fatigue on long-distance rides!

Upper Pipe Engine Guard & Lower Pipe Engine Guard V-Strom 250SX ('23)
The Pipe Engine Guard, which is split between upper and lower, is an item that greatly enhances the V-Strom 250SX's defensive capabilities. Unlike some fog light brackets which offer little protection, it was developed to function as a solid engine guard, and a solid shaft-type joint is used to connect the left and right steel pipes.
The diameter of pipes for both the upper and lower guards is 1 inch (25.4mm), which is commonly used for Harley-Davidson type handlebar sizes, and the exterior has a matte black painted finish. They can be used as a location to clamp various devices, such as camera equipment, as well as DAYTONA's LED fog light unit, Precious Ray.
Oil can be changed with the lower engine guard installed. Also, the exhaust pipe does not need to be removed for installation.

Windshield Offset Bracket V-Strom 250SX
The Windshield Offset Bracket uses the stock windshield without modification. The mounting position can selected from two choices, the stock height or 50mm up for further wind protection.
The upper mounting bar, which is on the rider's side, is millimeter bar size (φ22.4mm) and is the same thickness as handlebars commonly found on Japanese bikes, allowing for the attachment of various items such as smartphone holders and navigation systems. The position of this mounting bar itself is also adjustable by 20mm (forward and backward), making it easy to secure clearance between the device and the windshield.

Model Specific Hazard Light Kit V-Strom 250SX
This kit enables the hazard function to be used on the V-Strom 250SX, which does not originally have a hazard function. It is a coupler-on kit that includes all switches, relays, etc., and the wiring length has been adjusted specifically for the bike model, making it easy to install.

The clutch lever operation becomes lighter, making it easier to operate and reducing fatigue on long trips. It is also compatible with the Gixxer SF250 and Gixxer 250, which have the same type of engine, and the black anodized finish makes it an effective dress-up part as well.
