STRIKER FORTI Step Kit: Top class series born to meet the growing demands of riders!
STRIKER "FORTI Step Kit"
STRIKER, a well-established brand known for their steps and exhausts, has launched a new top-of-the-line step series, "FORTI", with the first product being for the Yamaha XSR900 ('22-) / MT-09 ('21-'23).
The FORTI series is the embodiment of what riders have asked for from STRIKER. With its roots in the Special Step, a basic sport model, and the STC (Sport Touring Concept) Step, which has a slightly looser position with more focus on street and winding roads, it provides a slightly sportier position than the STC. Double bearings are used for the left and right pedals, and a large heel plate, which has become popular lately, is also equipped. It is a product that responds sincerely to the needs of riders.
Currently, STRIKER is also in the final stage of development to add the Kawasaki Z900RS to the lineup, so we look forward to seeing that as well.
The top photo shows an example of installation on an XSR900. Using the two holes for step plate attachment on the bike itself and the two holes on the base plate of the FORTI Step (see bottom photo) 4-positions can be achieved. The step bar that grips the sole of the foot firmly (newly designed, including the cutouts) and the machining of each part to balance function and rigidity are definitely the work of a long-established company. The logo on the new large-type heel plate is cut and engraved after anodizing, for a three-dimensional effect.
The pedal length can be adjusted in three positions to accommodate riders with large feet and those who wear thick-soled boots, which are popular among female riders.
Double bearings with waterproof/dustproof rubber seals are also newly adopted for the moving parts of the pedals.
