[New Product] SP Tadao POWERBOX Pipe for the new YZF-R25/MT-25 now on sale at long last!
SP Tadao, who continue to develop "Feeling Good!" exhausts, have released the POWERBOX Pipe for the 2022 model year YZF-R25 and MT-25 (8BK-RG74J), and Webike is already taking orders! We know this product has been long-awaited by owners of the new YZF-R25 and MT-25, so let's get right to the details.
SP Tadao overcame the pressure to create this supreme exhaust!
The new YAMAHA 2022~YZF-R25 (8BK-RG74J) POWERBOX Pipe is a completely new pipe that fits the 2022 YZF-R25 and MT-25. Although a version for the earlier model R25 is available, a POWERBOX compatible with the 2022 model had not yet been commercialized.
According to the SP Tadao development team, they were under a lot of pressure with the huge success of the previous model's POWERBOX. However, the team finally decided to take on the task after receiving requests from many owners of the new model R25.
The polished finish of the ultra-light stainless steel gives it a beautifully gleaming appearance, but in fact, the manufacturing process was a major challenge. The "high degree of perfection" of the YZF-R25 was a barrier that had to be overcome, and the thickness and length of the main pipe had to be adjusted many times to get the torque line right.
All their hard work paid off, and with the POWERBOX the YZF-R25 has evolved into a very fast, torquey machine, with a torque line that is set between 3000 and 5000 rpm, giving the ride a relaxed feel, and a power line that quickly rises from 7000 rpm to the red zone. According to a member of the development team, just riding the bike "puts a smile on your face."
We are sure that many people have been waiting for this new model YZF-R25 POWERBOX Pipe, and we invite you to experience it for yourself.
