The "Full Styling Kit" from POLISPORT is not just a new exterior kit for YZ125/250s that have noticeable scratches and cracks on the exterior, but also a stylish exterior makeover in the style of the latest YZ model. It includes not only the exterior kit, but also a tank and seat, making it a great value for your money.

Ditch that tired exterior and replace it with the latest style

Since exterior parts of off-road motorcycles are subject to severe wear and tear, there are many aftermarket parts suppliers out there. POLISPORT is a brand that boasts a global market share in this field, and is highly popular due to their wide range of compatible makes and models, high quality that has been chosen for stock parts by manufacturers, and above all, the great cost performance of their products, which is important for consumable parts.

Their most popular exterior kit series is the "Restyling Kit". Since off-road competition bikes have short intervals between model changes, they quickly become obsolete within a few years. However, the concept of this styling kit is that by installing it you can easily reproduce the style of the latest model. If your bike is still at the forefront of its class in terms of fighting power, but has gone out of date, or if it has fallen into disrepair after repeated crashes, you can refresh its appearance to look like a state-of-the-art machine and ride it like it was brand new.

POLISPORT's "Full Styling" Exterior Kit for YZ125/250

The newest addition to the Restyling Kit series, the Full Styling Kit for the YZ125/250 was announced this March. In addition to the conventional exterior + air box kit, it also includes a plastic gas tank and seat with base, making it a truly "all-in-one" kit for a complete makeover. Three colors are available: blue (stock color), white, and black.

As for the front fender, fork guards, and number plate, they can be popped on in their original locations; the brimmed washers for the fender from the old exterior need to be used. For the air cleaner box, the stock connecting tubes and flap should be used. Then, using the original spring nuts, the air cleaner box should be connected to the subframe.

The seat is a complete seat with base and the fabric is a practical nonslip type. The color can be blue or black to match the exterior. The installation method differs from that of the stock seat in that it is attached by a single bolt which is accessible from the hole at the rear of the seat. The plastic base is also well made, making for easy installation.

The shrouds are secured to the tank by transferring the stock collars from the old exterior, and using the collars and bolts in the bag marked "HARDWARE 3". There are marks on the rear fender showing where to cut for the YZ125 and YZ250, however, when we installed it on this YZ125, we found that we needed to make the cut for the YZ250 in order to install it. It seems that it is necessary to check where to cut by holding it up to the actual bike.

The left and right side covers are attached using the grommets and collars from the old exterior, and the clip nuts in the plastic bag marked "HARDWARE 2" for the upper side. The lower side is mounted with the square nuts from the old exterior. The gas tank has a capacity of approximately 7 liters, and the cock, mounting bracket, and seat bracket are all stock. At the very least, you want to prepare a new cock gasket. The included tank has two pre-drilled holes for the cock, so a YZ125X/250X cock with reserve can be installed without modification.
