OHNO-SPEED Inner Fender Kit for SUZUKI GSX1100S/1000S/750S: Improve storage without compromising the Katana stock style!
OHNO-SPEED Inner Fender Kit for SUZUKI GSX1100S/1000S/750S
The problem with the stock GSX-S series air-cooled Katana (1100 / 1000 / 750) is storage space for additional electrical equipment. You want to store the ETC unit and drive recorder modulator, which have become indispensable items in this day and age, out of sight, and that's where the Inner Fender Kit introduced here comes into play!
The company behind this product is OHNO-SPEED, known as the Katana Meister. According to Mr. Ohno, "If you have a custom bike with a fender eliminator it is relatively easy, but if you stick to the stock style, you are immediately faced with the problem of where to install additional electrical components. If you want to install them securely, you have to make one-off brackets, which is time-consuming and difficult. Our Inner Fender Kit can be installed with the stock ride height and tires as is. The front of the fender also has space along the frame to the bottom, so extra wiring and other parts can be neatly stored." This is exactly what you would expect from a Katana specialty store. It is a long awaited item for all stock Katana enthusiasts.
The top photo shows the entire kit. It looks like a typical self-assembled inner fender kit, but as you can see in the bottom photo, it fits the Katana just right. The space in the front (left side in the photo at the top of this article, the right side is the rear) has a large area that can be used for mounting electrical components and cables.
Example of DYNA2000, Mio Drive Recorder, and ETC unit on the top panel. It provides ample space that cannot be achieved with the stock rear fender.
