FORESIGHT spotted at the MORIWAKI booth! XSR900 GP glowing with 1980s charm! [Tokyo Motorcycle Show 2025]
The FORESIGHT exhaust with heat-dissipating fins, which we have talked about in previous articles, was on display at the MORIWAKI booth at the Tokyo Motorcycle Show, held from March 28-30, 2025! We will also take a look at the XSR900 GP, which is finished in the style of the "ZERO-X7" racer from the 1980s.
The FORESIGHT is back! Heat dissipating fins give it an 80's racer look!
The MORIWAKI FORESIGHT was born in 1983 as an exhaust with heat dissipating fins on the outside of the silencer. It was used by two-time All Japan Champion Hikaru Miyagi, and was extremely popular in the 80s. And now, that same exhaust has been reissued again after so many years!
The unique shape with its characteristic T-shaped fins has been retained, but what is surprising is that it is compatible with the Yamaha XSR900 GP. It was made to look like the "ZERO-X7" racer riden by Hikaru Miyagi back in the day, a perfect homage to the era.
The T-shaped fins were designed for cooling and noise reduction effects, and no exhausts with similar specifications can be found today. The fact that it is unique and one-of-a-kind remains unchanged even today.
